Abide

At Abide, we want to present our guests with opportunities to connect with others, learn, and rest. Abide is designed to serve foster, adoptive, and kinship parents (both current and awaiting placement).

At this event, you will eat breakfast with other parents like you and listen to an encouraging word from our main speaker. You can stop by our delicious candy bar and coffee cart throughout the day. We will also offer a variety of breakout sessions. We hope this is a time to remember to abide in Jesus, your strength and hope, as you persevere in the hard work of foster care and adoption.

Childcare is available for children ages birth to 12th grade! For children ages birth to 5th grade, traditional KidCare will be provided. For children and teens from 6th-12th grade, we are offering a program through REACH council that will allow time for fun, connection, and skill-building.

Two weeks before the event, you will receive an email allowing you to view each breakout session's descriptions and sign up for them ahead of time! We are offering some amazing breakout sessions, including:

• Emotional Regulation & Re-dos
• Preventing Parent Burnout
• Discipline When Nothing Works
• Capitalizing on Connection
• Discipling Your Kids
• Special Needs Support Group
• Adoption Support Group
• Foster Care Support Group
• Coffee and Connect
• Prayer Room

Info: You have the opportunity to attend several different breakout sessions, including equip sessions, support sessions, and abide sessions. The prayer room will be available for the entire event.
