Leaf Art at Burleigh Waters

Get creative with nature! In this fun and hands-on craft activity, kids will use colourful leaves and other natural resources to create wonderful works of art inspired by their favourite nature-themed book.

Nature Book Week is an initiative by the Wilderness Society that celebrates the best new children’s books about nature. Each year it showcases a selection of fiction, non-fiction, and picture books that inspire a love of the natural world. Explore the shortlisted titles and request your copy to dive deeper into the wonders of the natural world.

This free activity is a playful way for kids to explore, create, and connect with nature. Check out our many nature-themed resources to continue discovering, reading, and learning long after the craft is done.
