HTNT's 2nd Annual Extreme Trail Challenge.
This is a 5 km on property trail loop thru the bush and mountain trail park. Riders will encounter a mix of Canadian Shield terrain including dirt trails, sections of technical footing, up and down small and large hills all marked with signs on the only on the right side of the trail. Riders doing the 10 km will ride the loop 2x and the 15km riders will do the loop 3x.
There will be 2 divisions (pending minimum participation of 3 per division)
Fastest time isn't the game but the horse must finish without injury, excessive exertion, in good mental state and physically fit to continue and match the time set for each division. Horses will be evaluated before and after completion.
Prize money will be for the one who matched the time set for each division from a portion of the entry fee $30 cash due day of event.
$20 etrans required to secure your spot and completion of the online registration.
Pre arrival is always welcome, rustic camping is an option, water is available for horses, just bring your own buckets.
All ages and abilities are invited to join us for a fun filled afternoon in the park! Riders are asked to always ride within both their and the horses abilities.

Total Entry fee $50/ horse and rider
Divisions:
Turtle - time set will be based on mostly walking
Rabbit - time set will be based on mix of walk, trot and some canter
