Break into Burlesque: Kittening & Social Media Workshop [Hybrid]

When you're breaking into burlesque, kittening and growing your social media following are incredible ways to get more stage time, network with performers and producers, and make yourself more desirable for bookings.

This one-time workshop invites performers near and far to join us in-person or online for some business and kittening basics to help make you an invaluable asset to any production.

In-person students are invited to arrive as early as 1:30pm as we set up. Class will begin promptly at 2pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided. There is very limited availability for in-person students.

Virtual students will receive their class link 3-days before the workshop and enjoy a virtual classroom moderated by Miss Lady Legs with full access to presentations as well as the ability to get questions answered whether via chat or by unmuting during Q&A at the end of each class.

All students will have access to class replays, class materials, and handouts within 1 week after the workshop's completion.

A born and raised Angelino, Gwen Ruby has rocked the nerdlesque scene as a founding member of The Hollywood Jane Revue since 2013. A graduate of Lili's School For Wayward Girls, Gwen is an award winning dancer, nabbing "Master Of Improv" at the 2015 Nevada Burlypicks. In 2024, Gwen added Burlesque Producer and Teacher to her resume through Herbal Elegance Revue, a lighthearted 420-friendly production in SoCal, and her Botanical Burlesque workshops. When she's not producing or dancing, you can often catch Ms. Ruby behind the scenes as "L.A.'s Premiere Stage Kitten," picking up stripper cast-offs at some of your favorite productions! She's the Marine Queen of The Green and the sweetest little tart from under the sea. Make waves for Ms. Gwen Ruby!

Miss Lady Legs' day job is helping small businesses and CEOs of larger businesses create content marketing strategies that fit their resources, schedules, and help them reach their goals. In this workshop (previously only available to her marketing clients), she'll give us the step-by-step for building a social media strategy that promises continual account growth and connects us to the right people.

Miss Lady Legs started in marketing as a copywriter and blog writer and worked her way up to Marketing Director at a tech startup in 2012. There, sher oversaw the marketing department's growth from a 1-person team to an 8-person team before going freelance. Since working on her own, she's worked with a range of clients from therapists and chiropractors, to automotive CEOs, M&A experts, and even a press-on nail e-commerce platform. Miss Lady Legs has helped dozens of clients gain 1,000s and 10,000s of relevant followers and increase their engagement by 3x-10x. In this workshop, she gives away a lot of her secrets for gauranteed account growth.
