Barefoot Sound Footprint Gen 2 Launch w/ CLA, Greg Wells & Manny Marroquin

Barefoot Sound has just unveiled the Footprint01 and Footprint02 Gen 2 monitors, and Vintage King is celebrating with a special launch event at Vintage King Los Angeles. Join us on Wednesday, November 19th, from 5–8 PM, as we welcome three of the most respected names in modern mixing: Chris Lord-Alge, Greg Wells, and Manny Marroquin.

These industry legends have helped shape the sound of countless hits—Chris Lord-Alge with his signature punch and clarity for artists like Green Day and Muse, Greg Wells with his production and songwriting work for Adele, Dua Lipa, and The Greatest Showman, and Manny Marroquin with his genre-defining mixes for Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Lizzo. Together, they’ll share insights into their craft, their experience with Barefoot Sound monitors, and how accurate monitoring drives world-class results.

Building on their already world-class design, Barefoot Sound has upgraded the Footprint01 and 02 Gen 2 monitors with all-new drivers, updated cabinets and amplifiers, and cutting-edge SPOC technology, delivering higher output, cleaner performance, and lower distortion than ever before. Along with these advancements, the Gen 2 models retain Barefoot’s signature innovations. Dual-Force technology uses opposing woofers to cancel cabinet vibrations for tighter, more controlled low end, while MEME technology offers four voicing options—Hi Fi, Flat, Old School, and Cube—for unmatched mix flexibility.

At the event, we’ll showcase the new monitors in action, exploring how different mixes translate through the Gen 2 models and highlighting their leap forward in sound by comparing them directly with the previous generation.
