Attention HOMESCHOOL community:
There will be two homeschool days this year. Monday Oct 13th and the other date will be on a Weds, but still TBD. We will create a separate event for it as well.
These dates are for HOMESCHOOLERS ONLY.
We welcome small groups on this day too! A couple or just a few! You don’t have to be in a “homeschool group, " but you have to be a homeschooler.
Gates open at 9:00am and close promptly at 1:30pm Last entry sold at 11am.
Admission is $10/ person, 2 and under free

The children can participate in the following activities on homeschool day at our farm:
9:30am-12pm: Hands-on educational opportunities with the farm animals ( starts every 30 mins.)
9:30am-12pm: Tractor pulled hayride (every 20-30 mins.)
10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am ONLY : Life Cycle of a Pumpkin learning lesson
11:30am: Beef-by-products lesson
Country store opens at 10 a.m.
Free play will be during all open hours and will be the only thing offered between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30pm with lots of fun farm activities such as roping, farm slide, duck races using old fashioned water pumps, mini-maze, huge life-size 5 acre maze, jump pad, corn hole, pumpkin patch, tire castle, Mighty Mouse race, and corn box.
Inclement Weather:
If the weather appears questionable on the morning of your scheduled tour, please call Cowart Ranch and Farms (386) 437-0750, or check the event page on facebook or our website. We will let you know the current conditions.
Everyone will get a fun farm experience and leave with a smile on their face!

For the best experience at our farm, please read the following so that you and your students are prepared.
—There will NOT be any vendors on site during week days.
—We have water/sodas available for $2 and Hamburg/chz for $6.00, & combo is $9.00, Regular size Hotdog $3.00 and combo $6.00. Lg Hotdog $5.00 $8 for combo. (COMBOS include 2 sides & drink) (sides are chips only)
— We also have a country store where we sell pumpkins($1-15), our homegrown grassfed beef, tallow products, jellies, local handmade items, etc. We accept cash or card (3% card fee)
—We do have porta-potties available with a hand-washing station.
—Students will be visiting a farm so please have them dress appropriately. Ex: Play clothes and close toed shoes. The students should be dressed appropriate for whatever the outside temperature is. If we have had recent rain, mud could be a possibility, so, old shoes, boots or rubber boots are best. Sandals are not recommended. Mosquitoes can be bad in the early mornings.
—You may bring your own lunches. There is a covered area with tables and chairs available.

-Money to buy food, or pumpkins, beef, etc.
-Appropriate attire/close toed shoes/ Hat/sunglasses
