Cindi (Cherko) O’Mara, an accomplished artist and art educator, guided Ruby Merritt through her early creative journey. Years later, their works meet again—distinct in style yet united by mentorship, shared influence, and a devotion to nature.

Beebe’s and Oralia’s invites for a roundtable conversation on mentorship in the arts, moderated by arts advocate Natalie Brown from the Burchfield Penney Art Center. Educators, artists, and community voices will share stories that affirm why art education is vital to creativity and resilience. Participants are encouraged to share stories of triumph, lessons learned, and moments of guidance that highlight why art education remains essential to personal development, growth, and professional resilience. Beebe’s at the Gallery and Oralia’s will be open together, blending art, food, and community under one roof.
