DAVID CLOYD
Plastic Magazine declares, “Revered for his ability to craft emotive, intricately layered compositions, David Cloyd has enjoyed a decorated musical adventure that’s seen him become an indie cult hero.” The Big Takeover proclaims, “David Cloyd is back, and back with a vengeance.” Compared to “John Martyn, Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley” by SPIN Magazine, Cloyd’s new album Red Sky Warning is out now on ECR Music Group.
CHELSEA O'DONNELL
Stress Dolls is the moniker of Chelsea O’Donnell, a songwriter from Buffalo, NY. The project’s sound has drawn such comparisons as “Joni Mitchell meets Nirvana,” “Avril Lavigne and Foo Fighters in a blender,” and “Kathleen Hanna fronting Modest Mouse.” O’Donnell began performing in 2013, both solo and with a band—first as Wolf and eventually changing the name to Stress Dolls. She made a move to Nashville in 2017, but chronic health issues sent her to the hospital only six months later. Following the surgery, she moved back to Buffalo, and after a period of recovery, began writing, performing, and recording again as a solo act.
In early 2022, she was invited to work with producer Jim Wirt (Fiona Apple, Something Corporate, Incubus) at Superior Sound Studios in Cleveland, OH. After recording a few songs together, including her singles “Body” and “Alone,” she was offered a record deal with Sun Pedal Recordings. After signing, Wirt and O’Donnell recorded several more tracks that went on to comprise her debut album, Queen Of No, released in May 2024. In 2025, O’Donnell founded Angry Girl Music, reissuing Queen Of No on her own record label.
Chelsea currently hosts The Scene on BTPM The Bridge, a regional music program that showcases artists from Western New York and Southern Ontario. She is also one-half of the electro-pop project Urge Surfer.
BUFFALO STRING COLLECTIVE pools together some of Buffalo’s best classical string players to create elevated musical opportunities for Buffalo artists and audiences–from performances and recordings to music education and special events. The lineup for this concert includes Inga Yanoski and Miranda Shulman on violin, Amy Kelly on viola, and Alex Cousins on cello.
MIXTAPES, a collaborative concert series produced by Buffalo Music Club, seeks to bring artists together on stage for exciting concert experiences backed by the Buffalo String Collective, with arrangements written by David Cloyd.
