It's that time of year again for the world-famous FREE PARTS DAY!!!!! This year's event will be Saturday, August 2nd from 8:30AM - 4:00PM. Entrance gates close at 3:30PM.
$50 CASH to participate in Free Parts Day. $2 entrance fee applies to all entering the yard. $50 will be paid at the end when leaving. All rules still apply - cash only, no torches, no open-toed shoes, no one under 16 years of age, no drugs, no alcohol.
Here are the basic rules:
1.) $2 entrance fee for EACH person when entering the yard. EACH customer wishing to participate in Free Parts Day pays $50 at the END when leaving.
2.) All parts must be carried in your hands for the final 15 feet. No carts/bags/boxes allowed for carrying parts. Get creative - items like hoods, tailgates, bumper covers, and decklids are large and can carry smaller parts. Seatbelts are great as straps. These are all car parts, so there's no issue with using them to transport other parts. Any parts that are in your hand(s) must not be dragging/touching the ground, including rolling wheels/tires, etc.
3.) Teamwork is NOT allowed. Only the customer who paid the $50 is able to carry the parts through the finish line.
4.) Checkout on the exit side through the large gate. IF you are planning on returning into the yard to participate again, you will need to re-pay the $50 at the end.
5.) All parts being sold while customers are participating in the event will be sold AS-IS, there are no returns or exchanges for these parts. There are no complete frame sales or complete vehicle sales. Engines & Transmissions will have core charges!
6.) Please remember to be safe and have fun! There is very little shade in the yard, dress appropriately and bring food and water.
