Pauline Chow is a writer and ancestral magic practitioner, crafting alternative histories and optimistic futures. In another life, she sued slum lords and advocated for affordable housing as a legal aid attorney. She is a Pushcart Prize nominated author with words in Cosmic Monthly Horror, Space and Time Magazine, and Apocalypse Confidential. She co-edited and contributed an essay to Coven of the East. Her gothic historical fantasy about 1925 Hong Kong, Chasing Moonflowers received a Kirkus Starred Review and is a Kirkus Review Best September 2025 Indie Read.
