Cocktails in Character: An LBN Fundraiser

Literacy Buffalo Niagara is celebrating 60 Years of changing lives, one word at a time!

Join us at Cocktails in Character in the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens for this non-traditional fundraising event.

Wear a costume inspired by your favorite literary character and tour the venue’s lush gardens, along with displays of our organization’s history and achievements.

Guests will partake in a delicious selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres, enjoy literary-themed cocktails, and get down to music provided by our DJ.

We will also have the crowd favorite Literacy Lottery, and a LBN merch table featuring some limited edition items for our Anniversary and this special event.

All proceeds from the event directly support our free literacy tutoring programs in Erie and Niagara Counties, helping adults learn how to read, write, and speak English.
