About the Buffalo 48HFP:
The 48 Hour Film Project is the largest filmmaking competition in the world, with more than 125 cities that participate. Over the course of 48 hours, each team writes, shoots, and edits an entire short film! This year, 40 teams made up of local filmmakers will compete to create the best film from August 8th-10th.
One week later, we roll out the red carpet for the premier screenings, showcasing all of the completed films at the North Park Theatre.
Then we all dress to the nines for the glamorous award show (dates TBA)! The winner will go on to compete internationally and represent Buffalo at Filmapalooza, where the top 15 advance to the Cannes Film Festival!
