During the meeting, researchers, technical staff and extension personal from the public and private sectors,as well as graduate and post-graduate students, will have the chance to share ideas and show their last workson themes related to the meeting topics. In particular, the event will give possibility to discuss about presentand future challenges in pest, pathogens and weeds management in protected crops, under the light of newknowhow and regulations, having regard to the social and economic changes taking place in countries ofthe production area concerned, and in the frame of ever-changing threats by noxious organisms alreadyoccurring in Mediterranean greenhouses or which could appear in the near future.

Through formal scientific sessions dedicated to oral and poster presentations, technical excursions to protected crops in Montenegro, and social events, the occasion will be given to participants also to strengthen existing collaborations as well as establish new ones.
