✨ Workshop Details
Day 1: Create a vibrant beach scene with waves and mountains, focusing on materials, techniques, and composition.
Day 2: Paint a realistic sand dune scene with distant water, learning how to bring depth and atmosphere into your work.
Both days will cover:
✔ Sketching with willow charcoal
✔ Composition & focal points
✔ Aerial perspective for distance
✔ Step-by-step layering from sky to sea to sand
✔ Finishing touches & highlights
Mark will hand out detailed and illustrated notes on his processes. Participants will work from the same reference photo (provided) and take home a beautiful pastel painting each day.

Mark’s work spans landscapes, seascapes, portraits, flora, and more. As a PSA Accomplished Pastellist, he brings years of experience, prizes, and passion for pastels — and now shares his skills through engaging workshops.
