Learn the theoretical and practical aspects of glaze making over this 10 week course.
This course is for ceramists looking to expand their skills into the world of glazing and create unique and exciting pieces.
Introductory students require no knowledge of ceramic chemistry, the course is practical and hands-on, and will teach you how to mix, process and apply glazes from existing recipes. This knowledge is expanded further in the Intermediate course.

A bit about your tutor, Marc....
Marc's relationship with clay spans almost 50 years. After completing his Diploma in Advanced Ceramics Marc taught ceramics at Southbank TAFE. With an ongoing passion for ceramic chemistry Marc developed and manufactured his own commercial range of underglazes, Deco Colours, while also running workshops and continuing his own thriving ceramics practice.
A qualified teacher, Marc taught visual art and ceramics at high school for 15 years, inspiring students to switch onto clay.
