Get your frying pans ready! Our annual pancake race is back, and we invite you to join us for this fun-filled tradition.
It’s free to enter – just bring your frying pan, apron and head scarf to take part!
The Pancake Race is a long-established event open to everyone. The day features a variety of traditional races, with small prizes for all children participating and trophies for the race winners.

When: Thursday, 19th February 2026
Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Where: The Green outside St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s Church
The event will be officially opened by the Mayor

5 & Under, Ages 6–11, Ages 12–17, Adult, Relay, Walking
Not racing? There will be a pop-up Craft Tent where you can get creative!
