The Buchanan Tri is a great triathlon for beginners but is also challenging for experienced triathletes. We're now in our 10th year! Buchanan is the gateway to amazing outdoor recreation experiences, including miles of national forest trails, the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway/Peaks of Otter, and Natural Bridge State Park. Buchanan maintains its small-town charm, while having great amenities, including shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants.
