FACES (1968) on 35mm!

As their marriage buckles, a middle-aged couple seeks solace in the arms of others but is unable to escape their attachment. Indie-film titan John Cassavetes made his first true masterpiece with this study of intimacy and estrangement, featuring a quartet of raw, live-wire performances.

This screening is presented in conjunction with a Cinema Classics Seminar, taught by Maurizio Giammarco, Ph.D.
