Join us for the fifth annual Mollyockett Challenge fundraiser!
Join us Sunday, September 21 from 8am-1pm for a fun physical challenge!
Challenge yourself or a student to see how many Mollyockett Mountain summits can be made before the last run at 12:45pm. Registration begins at 8am at the school. We will move to the trailhead off Koskela Rd for a 9am sharp start. Awards are given for top laps & times in each age division.
How can you participate?
Enter to take the challenge yourself with an entry fee of $20 ($10 entry fee for parents chaperoning/participating alongside their FCS students, fundraising students race free).
Connect with a Forestdale student and make a donation.
What does the course look like?
The staging area, bathrooms, parking, and registration will be at Forestdale School/Woodstock SDA Church. There will be a neutral start where everyone walks to the start of the trail, about 1/3 a mile up Koskela Rd. Then, all hikers/runners will follow the well marked trail to the summit of Mollyockett mountain. The trail is about 1.5 miles round trip and about half logging road and half single track.
At the top you will have your card punched (we’re talking about a hole punch in the paper here 😉) to track your summits, and again at the bottom of the trail.
Aid stations will be located at the start of the trail and summit. We will have water, Gatorade, and snacks (fruit, crackers).
PLEASE RESPECT THE LAND and stay on the marked trails and carry out all waste!
Huge thank you to the Bean family for providing land access for this event.
