Maundy Thursday Service

𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲...



...as we remember the sacred evening Jesus shared with His disciples before His crucifixion. Maundy Thursday, also called Holy Thursday, commemorates the Last Supper — the final meal Jesus had with His disciples — and the powerful example He set by washing their feet as a lesson in humility, love, and service. On this night, Jesus also gave His disciples a new commandment to love one another as He has loved us.

The events we reflect on are described in the Bible in John chapters 13–17 — beginning with Jesus washing the disciples’ feet (John 13), teaching about love and service, and continuing with His comforting words and prayers for His followers that night.

We hope you’ll join us for worship, reflection, and communion as we prepare our hearts for Good Friday and Easter. April 2nd, 6pm at Bryan Community Church. We will enjoy fellowship around a baked potato supper as well.
