Bryan Anderson

Organist Bryan Anderson is an outstanding concert organist as well as an active chamber musician and continuo player, regularly performing with the early-music group Harmonia Stellarum Houston and the Oklahoma Bach Choir. He has created his own original transcriptions for organ, including orchestral works by Duruflé, Debussy, and Dave Brubeck. The exceedingly stellar musicality and technical prowess exhibited by Bryan Anderson compelled the jury of the Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition to name him their First Prize Winner in 2023. Classical Voice of North Carolina described his playing as “simply first class.”

In conjunction with Bryan’s concert on Sunday afternoon, October 5, an organ master class will be offered the day before, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4. If you are interested in attending this event, details will be provided on the “American Guild of Organists: Brazos Valley Chapter” Facebook page.

More information on Bryan’s concert will be provided as we get closer to the concert date. Remember, the concert is FREE. An informal reception follows the performance.
