The Intelligence Analyst’s Role in a Complex Security Landscape: Shaping the Next Generation of European Intelligence Analysts
The international conference “The Intelligence Analyst’s Role in a Complex Security Landscape: Shaping the Next Generation of Intelligence Analysts”, held in Brussels, represents the culmination of over two years of collaborative work within the Erasmus+ ANALYST project, funded by the European Union.
In an increasingly complex and multipolar world, the demand for professionals capable of researching, analysing, and interpreting diverse data sources to support evidence-based decision-making has never been greater. The ANALYST project was created to meet this need by developing innovative educational materials and training modules that bridge the gap between academic education and the practical realities of the labour market.
This conference brings together experts from academia, the public and the private sector to explore the evolving role of the intelligence analyst across various fields and discuss the future of intelligence education in Europe. Through the interactive panel discussions, participants will exchange perspectives on how to enhance collaboration, strengthen professional training, and shape the next generation of intelligence analysts in Europe to effectively navigate today’s complex security environment.
The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
The final agenda can be found here.
