For just £15 you can take the control of a steam locomotive in the sidings.

Our general advice is that young children are likely to be a bit frightened, so we don’t recommend the experience for them. Older children can do it providing they are accompanied by a responsible adult and it is always at the Driver’s discretion.
There is a maximum of two visitors to travel on the locomotive.
Visitors must be able to mount and dismount to/from the footplate, about 3 foot, via three vertical steps without assistance from the crew. This experience is therefore not appropriate for some people with limited mobility.
The drivers decision to accept or reject persons onto the footplate must be accepted. If a pre-purchased ticket is refused, a refund will be available from Cranmore Station.

Steaming for Fifteen is run on a first come first served basis so you are welcome to have your experience at any time throughout the day between 11 am and 3.30 pm, however we cannot guarantee the wait times.
