Join us in Brussels on August 24, 2025 for a symbolic 3.4 km run celebrating Ukraine’s Independence Day — and help raise €3,400 to fund robotic rescue systems that save wounded soldiers’ lives on the frontlines. For more experienced runners, we offer to double the distance and run 7 km instead.
💙 Why participate & donate?
- The robotic systems we’re funding go where people can’t — evacuating injured soldiers from the most dangerous zones and giving them a chance to live.
- 100% of donations go directly to the cause, coordinated by Hurkit, a Kyiv-based NGO working closely with frontline brigades.
- Run in solidarity and celebrate together: join the lottery with prizes from Hurkit and Ukrainian businesses in Brussels, and enjoy traditional food, music, workshops, and more after the run.
📅 Event Details
- Run: 3.4 km or 7 km (3.4 km*2) — walk, jog, or run at your own pace; all welcome
- Date & time: August 24, 2025
- 11:00 AM — Registration at Place Jean Rey, Brussels
- 12:00–12:15 PM — Walk from Place Jean Rey to Parc du Cinquantenaire, run starts
- 1:30 PM — Solidarity lottery and Independence Day festivities at Place Jean Rey (

Every participant receives a symbolic gift from Hurkit and enters a raffle with prizes from Ukrainian businesses in Brussels.
