Chanteuse, productrice, DJ et autrice-compositrice, Qendresa incarne le métissage musical du nord-ouest londonien. Issue de la diaspora kosovare, elle façonne une musique soul teintée de sonorités électro, aux reflets r&b et hip-hop, nourrie autant par l’âge d’or du grime que par des figures comme Mariah Carey ou Sade. Entre ballades 80s et beats 808, Qendresa passe avec facilité des productions DIY aux performances live accompagnée de ses musicien·ne·s. Adoubée par Lil Yachty ou encore Daniel Kaluuya, elle s’impose aujourd’hui comme l'une des nouvelles voix de la scène alternative britannique.

Qendresa is een veelzijdige zangeres, songwriter en producer uit Londen. Met invloeden uit soul, funk, elektronica en 90’s r&b creëert ze een nostalgisch maar fris geluid, diepgeworteld in haar jeugd binnen de Kosovaarse diaspora.

Haar muziek voelt als een ode aan een tijdperk, maar klinkt tegelijk helemaal van nu: groovy, eigenzinnig en gelaagd. Naast haar releases maakte ze indruk met liveshows op onder andere Milan Fashion Week en events van merken als Raf Simons x Adidas, Levi’s en Fiorucci. Ook is ze maandelijks te horen met haar eigen radioshow op het toonaangevende NTS Radio.
