Elle commence la harpe et le piano à 5 ans mais trouve son centre avec le violoncelle à 7 ans. Autoproclamée introvertie qui préfère disparaître que de se sentir désengagée socialement, elle arrive à Montréal à l’âge de 16 ans pour continuer ses études scientifiques et poursuit en composition musicale. La scène rave de Montréal est son terrain de jeu - elle s’établit comme productrice et DJ. Plus tard, ses habiletés classiques la redirigent vers la composition à nouveau. Partageant son art à de nombreuses collaborations, elle est stimulée par sa capacité à se transformer, tantôt transformation sonore, tantôt transformation de rôle au sein d’une collaboration. Unique en son genre, elle soutient le lien entre tradition classique et expression contemporaine.

Ouri began playing the harp and piano at age 5, but at 7 she found unity in the cello. A self-proclaimed introvert who’d rather dash off on her own than feel disconnected in the wrong crowd, she arrived in Montreal at the age of 16 to pursue a degree in science and ended up studying music composition. Montreal’s rave scene is where her artistry began to take shape, establishing herself in the underground community as a producer and DJ. Later, her classical skills guided her back to composition. Lending her skills to various collaborations, she feeds on her affinity for fusing sonically into any genre and playing any role. One of a kind in the musical scene, Ouri holds the bridge between classical tradition and contemporary expression.
