900 Satellites is a choreographic and performative extension of the collective work 900 Something Days Spent in the XXth Century by Némo Flouret. 900 Satellites is a “sidestep” in this project, designed to generate and extract versions of the original work and to be site-specific responding. Like ideas in perpetual evolution, these fragments allow for the infinite renewal of these dances, and their mutation for Bozar’s Hall Horta.
For the occasion, 11 dancers take over the Hall to create a stripped-down choreography, devoid of all artifice, with the sole attribute of movement and expenditure to make this dance explosion exist temporarily, as quickly as a flash of lightning.
Némo Flouret's debut at Bozar reveals the young choreographer's agility in making spaces his own - from large theater stages to public spaces and fashion shows. This performance at Bozar enabled him to open up new spaces for choreographic dialogue with the dancers of his company, and to continue developing his artistic journey in resonance with a unique architectural space.
