Maison de disques fondée en 1995 à Paris, Prohibited Records est le label des frères Nicolas et Fabrice Laureau. Ils sont alors membres du quatuor post-punk/rock Prohibition et s’apprêtent à sortir leur troisième album. Aujourd’hui impliqués dans leur trio tropical-destroy NLF3, ou en solo sous les alias Don Niño et F/LOR, les frangins continuent leur passionnante aventure et célèbrent les 30 ans de leur maison-mère, Prohibited Records. Sur ce label, et avec Ouvré, série de disques en édition limitée réalisés par Fabrice, sont sortis de nombreux artistes dont Herman Dune, Françoiz Breut, NLF3, Don Niño, F/LOR, Brisa Roché, M.Sayyid (Of Antipop Consortium), Pacôme Genty, Erik Minkkinen, Quentin Rollet, Jérôme Lorichon, Shane Aspegren, The Berg Sans Nipple, Jason Glasser, Dominique Petitgand, Heliogabale, Patton, Mendelson, Purr… Un label qui fait collectif, inventé par des musiciens pour des musiciennes et musiciens qui leur ressemblent.
