In this walking tour of downtown Brunswick between the Town Mall and the Cabot Mill, we will learn about the Wabanaki history that has shaped Brunswick. We’ll consider, for instance, why Maine Street is so wide and why the falls are the source of so much of the area’s life and conflict. We will also learn about how Wabanaki history in the area continued long after the founding of Brunswick in 1715, including into the present.
Tour group will meet at the gazebo on the Town Mall.
