October 26 – November 1 | 320 Church Road, Brunswick
Brunswick United Methodist Church invites the community to participate in its first outdoor ofrenda, a sacred space of remembrance and celebration open to all from October 26 through November 1.
An ofrenda—Spanish for “offering”—is a traditional altar created to honor and remember loved ones who have died. This community ofrenda invites people of all backgrounds and faith journeys to join in remembering those who have gone before us in love and light.
Visitors are encouraged to bring photos, mementos, tokens, or written names of loved ones to place on the altar, and to write prayers or hopes for the year ahead on the communal altar cloth.
All names and prayers shared will be lifted up during Brunswick UMC’s All Saints’ Sunday service on November 2nd.
This installation is open to everyone—members and non-members alike—as a shared expression of community, gratitude, and connection that transcends time and tradition.
