Naturalist 101: Discoveries from the Salt Marsh (Lecture)

Georgia’s 100-mile coast is known for its vast stretches of salt marsh—a hugely productive ecosystem that fuels our commercial fisheries, boosts local ecotourism, and protects our coastal communities. But with our changing climate comes increased threats to our most iconic resource.

Join us to hear from Savannah State University professor Dr. Christopher Hintz about his research into the impacts ocean acidification and increased CO2 will have on Georgia’s marshes and local oyster populations.

Doors open at 6:30 pm at our Brunswick office (7 Glynn Ave., Brunswick). The lecture begins at 7 pm, with Q&A to follow. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free, but we ask that you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
