Duxie Franklin at Bar Open - 'Wasting Time' Music Video Launch Show

Alt-pop singer-songwriter, Duxie Franklin, has been hailed as “one of the country’s most unique and exciting emerging acts” (Happy Magazine Blog). As a multi-instrumentalist and artist, Duxie Franklin seamlessly combines pop and folk elements to create her endearing sound.

Her latest single is the anthemic, ear-worm, ‘Wasting Time’, which premiered on TheAUReview.com.

“‘Wasting Time’ is one of those songs that I wrote really quickly, as if it already existed. I tend to be fanatically ‘busy’ but lately I’ve started to notice and enjoy more the spaces in-between productiveness. It’s a celebration of passing time in whatever form that takes.”

Bruce Baker described the instrumentation as ‘luscious and mirthful to the core’ with Duxie’s ‘bright and breezy’ vocals. Duxie will be releasing the official music video to ‘Wasting Time’ and is celebrating the launch with her band of Long Lost Texan Uncles.
