About the event

Somatic Sessions - Breath, Sound & Movement
Somatic Sessions are a weekly drop-in class designed to connect you with your body in a way that feels easeful and exciting. Tune in to your inner world through the realm of sensation to find relief from the monkey mind. Listen to the murmurings of your body, allow your breathing to return to its natural, nourishing rhythm and let your whole system repair from a place of safety.

I weave yogic principles and somatic knowledge with breathwork practices to support the release of habitual holding patterns. These sessions offer space to deepen your relationship with your body, so you can leave with a feeling of greater connection and maybe even excitement about what else exists beyond the seen realm.

Why Breathwork?

Our breath is the bridge between body and mind. It’s the one system we can consciously influence that also runs automatically, which makes it a powerful doorway into regulation and transformation.

In these sessions, we’ll be using pranayama and a regulating conscious connected breath to drop into deeper layers of relaxation and consciousness.

Think the bottom of your pelvic bowl kind of grounding that opens up your world to clarity and creativity. Yum.

Yeah yoga has been around for centuries for a reason! It was never about looking good in Lululemon tights and flexibility but about mastering the mind and accessing greater levels of consciousness so we can realise the power of our true nature, and release from the illusion of suffering.

Now I don’t claim to be a master but I am excited about liberation and passionate about these practises as pathways.

Want more reason?

Breathwork will build your capacity for stress, lower inflammation, improve oxygen uptake and your immune system. Its a great ticket to optimising your life.

Your Faciliator:

Ali has been immersed in Classical Tantra Yoga since 2018, weaving together training in Yoga Teaching, Somatic Dance, Mind-Body Therapy, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, and Breathwork. She spent 3 years holding ecstatic dance and loves creating juicy spaces where you can show up as your true self and discover more of what that feels like.

What people say:

‘Ive been feeling more grounded after coming to nearly every session and I’ve been managing to implement the exercises through my well’

“Through her deep listening and enquiry, Ali has an incredible way of helping me drop into & explore my subconscious beliefs. Through the wisdom of the body, unlocking the gems that deep down I knew all along. She has helped me unveil mistruths I’ve had on autorepeat for decades. I am truly grateful for her presence & nature…a place I feel safe.”

Cost:
$15 until the end of Oct.

I want this to be accessible so reach out if this pulls you but money is not in full flow yet.
