Grow Your Own Lunchbox

The Grow Your Own Lunchbox Challenge, an initiative of the Mullumbimby Farmers Market, marks its 10th year on 5 September 2025, celebrating fresh, healthy, local food and the farmers of the future. Each year, 7–10 local schools share their kitchen garden stories and compete in four categories: Box of Vegetables, Preserved/Pickled/Dried Products, Garden Fundraising Ideas, and the Lunchbox Challenge, where students have ten minutes to create a healthy lunchbox from their garden produce. Join us at the market for great lunchbox tips and to show some love to our young, budding farmers.
