Roots Wire Soundsystem (est. in 2020), hailing from Ghent coming in with a fresh batch of vibes! Along their rootical selection, expect some ruff own productions! So better watch it!
♦️ Roots Garage Soundsystem ♦️
The journey began in a tiny garage box, with after-school sessions and speaker boxes barely holding together. Through voluntary work at sessions like Shikoba, Terra Sjamanic and Roots Explosion the technical side of sound system slowly unfolded. At the same time the sound itself started to take shape box by box, record by record. What began as a humble passion project is now a steady force in the Belgian roots and dub scene. From the garage to the people, powered by vinyl and love!
♦️ Deliverance ♦️
Deliverance, is a Ghent soundsystem that was founded in 2015, so 10 years in the dub thing! Back then known as “RDC Sound”, but after completing their soundsystem they changed the name to “Deliverance Soundsystem’. Playing pure roots & culture music in a well versatile style, from uplifting roots, to rare digi to heavy dubplates. Roots & culture is the way, love is the key!
♦️ Backyard Youths ♦️
Straight outta Bruges City four longtime homies with a deep love for reggae music began their journey in the early 20s collecting vinyl and building boxes from scratch. What started as a mini stack quickly evolved into a powerful fully handbuilt soundsystem! Since then they've been spreading music and message wherever they go. Rooted in sound system tradition and driven by a mission to uplift and educate they bring the vibes in full effect! Youths in a Roots edutainment stylee!
