Looking for a fun way for your girl to learn essential life skills?
Join us for Be Prepared: First Aid Day, hosted by the Irish Hills Service Unit Girl Scouts!
This FREE, hands-on event is open to all girls and their caregivers on Saturday, September 27, from 2โ4 PM.
Girls will rotate through 5 interactive stations to learn essential first aid skills, including:
๐จ Practicing how to call 911 (Check / Call / Care)
๐ฌ Talking with someone who has treated real injuries
๐ฅ Learning how to treat nosebleeds, scratches, and burns
๐ Understanding how to care for bug bites, sunburns, and bee stings
โ ๏ธ Recognizing and responding to allergic reactions
Plus, there will be a hands-only CPR demonstration and a talk about using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
While girls take part in hands-on learning, caregivers can discover all the opportunities Girl Scouts offersโfrom STEM and outdoor adventures to leadership and entrepreneurship.
Whether sheโs interested in gaining new skills or curious about joining, this event is a great way to see Girl Scouting in action!
