10 Second Pool Tournament

Bracket will be posted @ 4pm.
RULES:
Breaking: You have 30 seconds to place the cue ball from the time that the rack is lifted and get your stick. You have 10 seconds to hit the cue ball from the time you touched your stick. (You must hit cue ball within 10 seconds).
First shot after break: If ball is made, you have 30 seconds from the last time the cue ball was hit to hit cue ball again. If ball is not made, you have 30 seconds from the last time the cue ball was hit to get your stick and 10 seconds from the time you touched your stick to hit the cue ball again.
You are what you get in on the break, if even amount of solids and stripes, table is open. If odd amount of solids and stripes, you are the greater number. If Cue ball is made on break, table is open.
8-ball break is a re-rack, no matter what.
Game play: Straight 8, call your pocket. You have 10 seconds from the last time cue ball was hit to get your stick, then 10 seconds to hit the cue ball. If you are touching your stick, when the other person is done shooting, you only have 10 seconds to hit the cue ball from the last time it was hit. Leave your stick down.
If you make your ball, you have 10 seconds to hit the cue ball from the last time it was hit.
You may hit the cue ball while it is in motion.
Scratching- you have 30 seconds from the time the cue ball was last hit to place the ball and get your stick. Once you have your stick, you have 10 seconds to hit the cue ball.
Foul: When time is called, it becomes the other persons shot. He then has 10 seconds to get his stick, and 10 seconds to shoot once he has his stick.
If time and cue ball are at the same time, tie goes to player. (if you are touching your stick, you only have 10 second from the time foul was called to hit the cue ball)
Misc:
Scratch on the 8ball is a not a loss, unless 8 ball is pocketed
Matches are best 2 out of 3, Double elimination
Take what you make on the break
Flip for the first and third break. Loser of the flip breaks 2nd game
