Planting Moore Lake Park's Shoreline

Join us for an in-person workshop which will include learning about shorelines and then planting an actual shoreline.

Bring your gloves and boots to help us plant Moore Lake’s shoreline!

Topics we will go through before we start planting are shoreline site assessments, plant selection tips, erosion control techniques, how to protect new plants from bird/animal damage, and more.

You will also get access to resources that will help you learn about your shoreline project and how to protect lakes in your community.

Free to attend for RCWD residents otherwise it's a 15$ fee.
