Snow Ball
Join us for a Snow Ball!
This special event is both a ballroom dance lesson AND social combined, and designed to teach you how to dance and get you dancing in a fun and interactive way. Some ballroom dance socials have a dance lesson, and then throw you "out in the wild" to fend for yourself on the dance floor for the rest of the night. This leaves beginners sitting out as wall flowers for most of the social part of the dance. We're trying something new...
This interactive dance lesson and guided social dance will be conducted in "Snowball Style" - instructors will teach you the steps, then grab 2 people to dance for a bit, then those 2 pairs will grab 4 new people, and those 4 will grab 8, those 8 will snowball to 16, and so on until everyone is on the dance floor practicing their new moves. After a couple songs of mixing it up, we'll go onto the next dance until you have a few basics of most of the common and popular ballroom dances.
