Join us for a special evening with Eleni and George Karimalis of Ikaria, Greece and Blue Zones fame.
The dynamic couple will lead a workshop at the Maliotis Cultural Center in Brookline to learn how and why people in the "Blue Zone" of Ikaria live so well for so long. Our presenters will explain how people in Ikaria stock their kitchens, cook and eat; the role of movement and community in their longevity; and provide plenty of lifestyle tips for your overall well-being. Attendees will get to know Eleni and George and have time to ask questions.
"Blue Zones" are areas of the world where people live exceptionally long and healthy lives, with remarkably high percentages of centenarians. We like to emphasize that the people who live in these areas live very active, fulfilling lives!
In addition to learning about the refreshing way of life and culture that’s typical of Ikaria, this lecture offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections with other like-minded individuals. And, attendees will have the opportunity to sample Greek food!
Also check out other Workshops in Brookline.
