About the event

Southeast GA Farm Dinner: Planning for Future Growth
Georgia is projected to have the fourth-highest farmland loss by acreage in the nation by 2040. Approximately one million acres and four thousand farms could be lost in the next 15 years.


Please join us for a complimentary dinner at Hunter Cattle Co.’s 1890 Farmhouse and Pavilion, and a presentation and discussion on how to protect Georgia’s farms and farmers through Conservation Easements, Succession Planning and Business Innovation.

This event is Free to attend with RSVP. A free tour of the Hunter Cattle Co. facility before dinner is also available.

Presented by the Georgia Grown Innovation Center, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Athens Land Trust, GA FarmLink, and the American Farmland Trust.
