Beginning Ceramic Wheel – 4-Week Class
with Elissa Wenthe at Three Acres Farm
Ready to dive into the pottery wheel? This 4-week class is designed for absolute beginners and those looking to refresh their skills. Over the course of four sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing—from centering clay to creating functional forms like cups, bowls, and small vases.
Each week builds on the last, giving you plenty of time to practice and grow your confidence on the wheel. Elissa will provide step-by-step instruction and individualized support in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
What’s included:
Weekly 2-hour sessions (total of 4 classes)
All materials: clay, tools, glaze, and kiln firing
Instruction from a professional ceramic artist
A cozy, creative studio space on the farm
Friendly animals nearby to visit before or after class
Open studio times during the week and weekend for you to practice your new skills!

Final Project Pickup: About two weeks after the last session
