Join us for a screening and panel talk on the UNICEF short documentary, . The film follows Doctor Younis, a devoted father and grandfather, as he returns from retirement to vaccinate over 600,000 children against polio in Gaza—in the midst of the war. This is not just a film about a polio vaccination campaign, but one about the direct and indirect impacts of war on children’s health, and the lives of children and families living in the context of conflict and emergencies.
Following the screening, director Maria Lauret and producer Juan Haro will speak about the process and challenges of creating this film, and be available for a Q&A session.
