We are thrilled and honored to announce that DFD will return for a second year to perform at the Jamaican Independence Day Celebration presented by the Baychester Branch of the New York Public Library and JASA!
Join us on Wednesday, August 6th, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at Community Room #31, 2049 Bartow Avenue in the Bronx, for an afternoon of culture, history, heritage, dance, and festivities.
Guests will enjoy Jamaican bites generously provided by JASA, line dancing instructions led by Cynthia and The Bartow Line Dancers, and a performance by DFD.
Invite friends, come by, hang out, and celebrate community with your neighbors! This event is free and open to the public!
