Monthly Meeting - Demonstration by Mike Taylor

We are pleased to welcome Mike Taylor to the club to give our last demonstration of 2025.

Mike is a green woodworker and woodland craftsman, who manages his own Shropshire woodland to provide a sustainable source of wood for our craft.

On the evening, Mike will be using the traditional man powered pole lathe to show how is can be used to make the most of freshly cut British hardwoods.

Come along and learn about woodland management, and woodturning using a traditional lathe.
