ALEX MACKAY
Alex trained with 5Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth in New York in the 90s. Gabrielle called Alex “Raven Sister”. Alex teaches internationally and is known for bringing light and depth, a sense of wonder, and a lot of energy to dance with the group.
JOSEPH CASWELL
Alex’s partner Joe plays multiple instruments including a percussion rig, flutes, vocals and unique sonic creations. He brings stamina, power and ancient knowledge directly from the drums and strings, setting fire to everything he touches. Alex and Joe live in West Wales.

The 5Rhythms are a map to everywhere we want to go - inner, outer, forward, back, physical, emotional, intellectual - they reconnect us to the wisdom of our bodies and unleash movement’s dynamic healing power. 5Rhythms transcends dance - movement is the medicine, the meditation and the metaphor.
