Women's Health Week in Broken Hill

The Women’s Health team at Far West Local Health District will be in the Broken Hill town square on 2 September raising awareness about how women can have confident and informed conversations with their GP, as part of Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week (1-5 September).

Women’s Health staff will be providing practical tips and resources to help women get more out of their health appointments, as part of Women’s Health Week day two theme ‘Take the Lead’.

Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week is Australia’s largest national health campaign dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all women, girls and gender-diverse people. This year, the theme is ‘Say yes to you’ – to speak up, check in, and prioritise their health and wellbeing.
