Sunday Worship Service

Guilt is a powerful thing. Sure, we often try to pretend like we’re good. We often ignore our sins and tell ourselves that we’re not that bad. But guilt always catches up to us. You’ve felt it. The weight on your chest. The sleepless nights. Our consciences tell us that we’re sinners who deserve punishment from God.

Yet, the Bible offers us beautiful good news: “The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). The heart of the Bible is the message of God’s forgiveness for us through Jesus our Savior. In fact, Jesus loved to tell people: “Your sins are forgiven” (Matthew 9:2). You don’t need to live with guilt. Jesus has taken every one of your sins away. There is peace for you in God’s forgiveness!
