Join Bob Kashwer from The Northeastern Oklahoma Beekeepers Association at Ray Harral Nature Center for a presentation on the art of beekeeping! This free discussion will cover topics such as proper care for bees, equipment needed, time constraints, understanding pests, and many other big items associated with Beekeeping!

Meet Our Guide!

Bob Kashwer, of Broken Arrow, has kept bees for over 10 years and is an active member of the North East Oklahoma Beekeeping Association. Kashwer says “It’s something I’ve always been interested in, I started with complete ignorance. I went to a class, and it was very engaging.” He believes anyone who starts beekeeping should take classes.

This class is recommended for ages 13 and up. Space is limited and registration for every member in your party is required to attend.
