Pastor Roger Neumann will preach for our 9 am service at St. Paul's and present at 10 a.m. on the work of our churches in Ukraine. Join us for a potluck meal afterwards!
Pastor Neumann grew up here as a member of Grace
and is related to many of our members. Some
remember being with him in catechism class 55 years
ago. For more than 10 years, Pastor Neumann has
been our Wisconsin Synod's contact person with the
Lutheran Churches in Ukraine that are in fellowship
with us. These congregations have always endured
hardships. Since Russia invaded Ukraine a few years
ago, they have faced and continue to face many
additional difficulties and challenges. In his 10:00
a. m. Bible Class presentation, Pastor Neumann will
report on how these congregations are faring, and
share inspiring accounts of how the Lord has helped
and delivered them. These congregations continue to
trust in the Lord, and he will not fail them. That's a
great encouragement to us all!
